SunHawk Expert Spotlight – Atul Arora

We’re excited to announce that Atul Arora has joined the SunHawk Consulting team! Atul is a Director and AI Data Governance Practice Leader with over 20 years of experience in areas of Data Management, Analytics, and IT Systems. He has extensive experience in transforming legacy data ecosystems into scalable, secure, and innovation-ready platforms suitable for data science, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning solutions.  He is experienced in working with senior executives on formulating growth strategies and implementing structural changes that boost business value.

Additionally, Atul is proficient in setting up Data Governance and Quality Improvement programs, building modern analytics shops from the ground up, and deploying enterprise scale applications. His experience in leading data services and application engineering teams provides him with a unique perspective on the need and criticality of trusted data to the enterprise. During his years at Equifax, Rawlings Group, Schneider Electric, Humana, and General Electric, Atul led multiple enterprise-wide data initiatives in areas of Finance, HR, Sales, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service.

Atul is adept in formulating data strategy with an AI-first mindset.  His expertise is in enabling trust in  enterprise and external data for artificial intelligence (AI) and data science based solutions.  At Equifax, he played a pivotal role in migrating to a SaaS-based cloud architecture to deliver breakthrough solutions for risk intelligence, fraud mitigation, and real-time victim notification. He has experience in modernizing data ecosystems, including the acquisition and governance of healthcare, national criminal, and court case management data.

Atul has a Master’s in Business Administration and is certified in agile development methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, and ITSM principles. He is an inclusive leader, a confident communicator, and always focused on the customer. In addition, his passion for data and analytics does not end at work as he also enjoys speaking in various professional forums on topics related to Data Governance, Quality, and Analytics.
